Air Force has new competitor

The Air Force Falcons have a new competitor to look forward to in the upcoming season– the Boise State Broncos.

The Broncos are joining the Mountain West Conference, a move that could enhance their national title hopes. The past few seasons have been very frustrating for the team, which has failed to land a spot in the BCS championship game despite their winning records.

The school is hopeful that a conference change will increase their exposure and increase their strength of schedule. All of that could mean a significantly better chance at a championship game berth if they go undefeated.

Boise State’s migration is one of the first of what could be many moves where teams switch conferences in the weeks to come.
